Thank you, Sudie, for helping me connect
with our local community of Course students. By going through you, I feel safe from my own facebook fobia (FF). I know that if I am afraid of social media, it must ultimately be fear of love, but from where I am now, it looks a lot like fear of Wal-Mart.
EXCEPT for this page. Thank you!
Hi, friends, old and new!
I hope to get to know many of you better, and in the process, assist all of us locally and beyond in creating a Course community.
This is not just lip service. My husband Timothy and I are answering the joyful call to step up our game starting this fall, by leading in-person classes again, and hosting more potlucks and other events here at our home in the Village of Oak Creek, which we call The Little Garden.
This section in the Text called The Little Garden describes our ministry:
"The Thought of God surrounds your little kingdom,
waiting at the barrier you built
to come inside and shine upon the barren ground.
See how life springs up everywhere!
The desert becomes a garden,
green and deep and quiet,
offering rest to those who lost their way
and wander in the dust.
Give them a place of refuge,
prepared by love for them
where once a desert was.
And everyone you welcome
will bring love with him from Heaven
They enter one by one into this holy place,
but they will not depart as they had come, alone.
The love they brought with them will stay with them,
as it will stay with you.
And under its beneficence your little garden will expand,
and reach out to everyone who thirsts for living water,
but has grown too weary to go on alone.
Save the LAST WEEKEND IN SEPTEMBER
for a special celebration at the Little Garden.
