Can You See Yourself Here?
Do you need a RE-SET RETREAT?
Consider an immersion experience in
A Course in Miracles.
We invite students of the Course, whether new or experienced, to stay with us at The Little Garden for the purpose of studying and living the Course. (Reviews and Photos below.) Couples are also welcome.
You are invited to participate fully in our small group almost-daily study together, consisting just of those of us who are living or staying here.
Our Course study together is a very rich experience, and there is no extra charge for these classes. In addition, there is small group of experienced Course students/teachers who meet here once a week, and you are welcomed by other Course groups in Sedona, including one that Timothy leads outside the home.
How Does It Work?
We live together with private bedrooms as an adult family, sharing the kitchen, living room, dining room, and also pitching in on ordinary household tasks.
We have fun together, as well as a lot of Course-related conversations. Opportunities for practicing the Course's lessons in forgiveness and experiencing its gifts arise in these interpersonal settings. Learning is accelerated. Living together thus becomes the classroom.
You will be shopping and making your own meals, using our kitchen stuff, and you will share a refrigerator in the attached garage with Poppy. The kitchen has plenty of counter space for several people to work at the same time. If you would like to sit down at the table together, just make that request. Mealtimes are good times for sharing.
So What's the Vacation Part?
The beauty of Sedona's landscape is inspiring. I would be thrilled to take you on a hike or two each week, if you so desire. You can experience quiet, solitude, and inspiration even on short, easy hikes.
And you'll find that Sedona is jam-packed with people on spiritual journeys, art galleries, and friends you haven't met yet. In other words, life outside the home can be very rich, too.
This past summer Timothy and I grew especially fond of sitting out on the front porch at night, sharing, doing some singing and playing (him, ukelele), laughing and being happy together. We just added two chairs to the front porch, hoping you will take us up on the invitation to come visit us at The Little Garden!
Our rates are $700 and $900 for a 30-day stay, depending on the room, or AirBnB rates (an average of $85 per day) for shorter stays with a minimum of 3 days. Couples are also welcome in the suite with the private bath, for an additional $300/month. Linens and all utilities are included for the first month. Call me, Jan, to inquire about availabilities or to be put on a notification list. Please note that for longer stays, you may need to plan 6 months or more in advance.

"I lived in Jan and Timothy’s lovely and loving home for 10 months. Being experienced and dedicated Course teachers, they provide in-depth study and ongoing practice of A Course in Miracles. Living together in shared intent, the practice is kept in focus, learning is intensified and deepened! Thank you, Jan and Timothy!"

"Spirit, through a series of coincidences, led me to two extraordinary Teachers of the Course. ... Jan and Timothy are gentle teachers. Their "no-mask wearing" honesty during morning check-ins keeps things real. Their wholehearted love encouraged me to go deeper within myself. The daily experience of living the Course ushered me into a deeper peace within my mind, and a truer understanding of the Course as a way of life. I am grateful for all the people that have been called to teach the Course at this deep level."
